About Us
A BIT ABOUT BRAD
Hi, I’m Brad Martin from Leading Edge Electrical. I grew up on a dairy farm in Morrinsville and have lived in Hamilton since leaving home and starting my Electrical Apprenticeship as a young fella back in the 90’s.
I started Leading Edge Electrical after working for many years as an electrician in both NZ and overseas. I’ve personally installed SmartVent Home Ventilation Systems for years and wired hundreds of homes and residential renovations. I’ve spent years training and working with my first-class team of qualified tradesmen and apprentices to ensure we can offer the best service and workmanship possible.
I love the Waikato and all it has to offer. If I’m not at work, I can be found out on the water: catching dinner for my family, shredding some tracks on my mountain bike, hitting a ball around on the golf course or hanging out at a local playground or bush track with my young family. I am the proud husband of Tori and dad to my 4 beautiful kids.
Leading Edge Electrical continues to grow as our customers continue to appreciate our top-class workmanship, steel clad guarantee and great customer service.
THE TEAM
Our awesome team currently consists of Brad, Wendy, Simon, Kelly J (office) and Kelly F in marketing, Rob our operations manager, Jesse, Luke, Richard and Mike our tradesman and Kingston, Thomas, Chloe, Weston, Ella and Josh the apprentices.
We are based in Hamilton and service the greater Waikato.
Our Story
Here at Leading Edge Electrical we strive to have a fun and happy team atmosphere. Along with always working hard, we also have an active social club, have regular team BBQ's and go on awesome end of year trips, as shown in the photos below. A great place to work!
